**Creative heart vs business smarts**

Forging a creative career is thrilling. But it comes with its own set of financial and emotional challenges. Recent research has brought mental health issues within the music industry to the forefront and APRA AMCOS has been facilitating events on the topic.

We are extending the well-received events to the Alice Springs area, with Shihad drummer, producer and artist manager Tom Larkin leading Managing a Creative Calling. Drawing on a combination of research, personal experience, and strategies, Tom conducts a dynamic and open session on creativity, business, and finding support along the way. APRA AMCOS Representative Phillip Eaton will briefly discuss our initiatives and be on hand for the duration of the evening for questions.

The event is FREE and open to anyone with an interest in a creative career.
